Empowering Positive Change
 
Stacey will be speaking at the upcoming California Youth Summit: Empowering Change on November 3rd held by the American Democracy Institute.

The American Democracy Institute (ADI) is a nonpartisan, nonprofit education and research center that educates citizens, engages activists, and develops leaders who work throughout society to create social change. ADI is dedicated to empowering a new generation of Americans that will expand the circle of opportunity, equality and justice.
 
Bringing Women into the Political Process
 
Emerge is a political leadership training program for Democratic women. Emerge's mission is to identify, educate and inspire Democratic women who want to pursue elective office at the local and state level. Emerge makes a long-term investment in these future leaders by honing their political skills; expanding their knowledge of local issues; and connecting them with mentors. Stacey is a graduate of the Emerge program and a supporter.
 
 
Stacey is an elected representative of the Political Action Committee for the California National Organization for Women. The PAC's purpose is to dramatically increase the number of women elected to public office and to advance the feminist agenda through electoral activity.
