A long-term vision has played a key role in multiple-time founder Diego Saez Gil’s journey, including inspiring him to pursue his most recent venture Pachama, a Y Combinator-backed startup harnessing the power of AI to find solutions to climate change. Saez-Gil highlights the role that having a motivating mission has played in his leadership approach, allowing him to pursue ventures like his environmental startup Pachama aiming to create a marketplace for forest carbon offsets. Besides Pachama, Diego has previously embarked on various other startup ventures, including WeHostels (acquired by StudentUniverse) and Bluesmart (acquired by Travelpro Products, Inc.).
